Last updated August 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to EcoPle.org ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (https://ecople.org), including any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the website, or otherwise when you contact us.
- Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, that you voluntarily give to us when you subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a contact form.
- Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the site.
3. Use of Your Information
Having accurate information about you allows us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the site to:
- Create and manage your newsletter subscription.
- Email you regarding your inquiries or send you promotional materials.
- Increase the efficiency and operation of the website.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent, except to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
5. Advertising, Google AdSense and Third-Party Vendors
This website is supported by display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google as a third-party vendor. Google uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Its use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- The DoubleClick DART cookie. Google may place the DART cookie on your browser to serve advertising based on your browsing activity. You may opt out of the DART cookie at any time through the Google Ads Settings page.
- Other advertising partners. Third-party ad networks and exchanges that transact through Google may also set or read cookies on your browser. We do not control these cookies and we do not have access to the data they collect. A full list of Google certified advertising vendors is available in your Google Ads Settings.
- Opting out more broadly. You may opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors at once at aboutads.info/choices, the NAI opt-out tool, or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
We do not serve personalised advertising to visitors we can identify as being under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
6. Cookies and Your Consent Choices
On your first visit you are shown a consent banner. Until you make a choice, advertising and analytics storage are held in a denied state through Google Consent Mode v2, meaning no advertising or analytics cookies are set. Choosing Reject Non-Essential keeps them denied; choosing Accept All grants them.
Strictly necessary cookies — the ones that keep your session working and protect forms against cross-site request forgery — are always set, because the site cannot function without them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser, which will cause the consent banner to appear again. Our Cookie Policy describes each category in more detail.
7. Your Rights Under the GDPR and UK GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data: the right to access it; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have it erased; to restrict or object to our processing of it; to data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Our lawful bases for processing are your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies, and for newsletter subscription) and our legitimate interests (in operating, securing and improving the website). To exercise any of these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
8. Your Rights Under the CCPA and CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which they are used; to request deletion of personal information we hold about you; to correct inaccurate personal information; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. The use of advertising cookies by third-party vendors may nevertheless constitute sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out of that sharing by selecting Reject Non-Essential on our consent banner, or by clearing this site cookies and choosing that option when the banner reappears. To submit any other request, write to [email protected].
9. Data Retention
We keep newsletter subscriber records for as long as the subscription is active, and delete them within 30 days of an unsubscribe request. Messages sent through our contact form are retained for up to 24 months so that we can follow up on corrections and ongoing enquiries. Server access logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes. Data held by third-party advertising vendors is governed by their own retention policies, not ours.
10. International Transfers
Our service providers, including our advertising and email delivery partners, may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, that transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses as appropriate.
11. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. The site is served exclusively over TLS, and access to the administrative system is restricted and authenticated. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or other misuse.
12. Changes to This Policy and How to Reach Us
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. Material changes will be signalled by updating the effective date at the top of this page. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
